For over 30+ years, Francesco Venesina has worked in the restaurant business. First with his parents at fabled Conca D’Oro pizzeria in Sag Harbor, and now as founder of Shelter Island Slice. 

To east end locals, he is widely known as Frankie. And after deep reflection on what he’ll do next, an opportunity knocked to continue his family’s time honored tradition of making great food at a great price. 

So to all who miss those thick crust Sicilian corners, fresh tomato sauce, good times and better memories…
